The International Hellenic University invites you to the event Innovative 3D Scanning & 3D Printing Case Studies  in the Industrial Design  Sector Wednesday 5 April 2017| 18:00  International Hellenic University’s campus

Individualized production is becoming a reality in a broad range of disciplines. Advanced digital technologies offer the possibility for customization and optimization, with the use of 3D scanning and 3D printing. Following at least two decades of intensive research and experimentation on reverse engineering and additive manufacturing, we are currently in the position to implement innovative design strategies in the industry, not only for research purposes, but as an integral part of the design process itself. The event gathers distinguished researchers and 3D technology experts, which will present case studies of 3D scanning and 3D printing in the industrial design sector. The presenters will touch upon different applications of the aforementioned technologies showcasing the importance of innovation and technology integration in the industrial world, exemplifying their significance for a great variety of different disciplines.
